iAbrasive: If asked to give your comment on the exhibition, what would you say?
Gao Bingyuan: To some extent, the effect is achieved. Actually, after exchanging ideas with counterparts, we found out that there isn't that much we can gain from an exhibition, the point is, clients will learn from your timely presence whether your products go well or not. On the other hand, attending an exhibition is an effective way to gain customer trust and establish a permanent business relationship. Woozfine products turned out to be progressing.
Above all, the international hardware show in March turned out more effective than that in September. Yesterday it took four people to deal with the booth.
iAbrasive: Seen from the exhibition site, coated abrasives manufacturers enjoyed greater popularity than those of boned abrasives, can we say that coated abrasives has a larger market than bonded abrasives?
Gao: I'm afraid not. Usually bonded abrasives product manufacturers are regular customers due to their strict quality control and emphasis on product safety. Enders users will only cooperate with selective bonded abrasives manufacturers whose products are reliable. This is the difference between coated abrasives market and bonded abrasives market.
iAbrasive: How do you feel about the market situation this year?
Gao: Seen from the first quarter, it is better than last year. The assembly line have been busy since Jan 17th, up till now, the order has been delayed for seven days. In terms of coated abrasives product manufacturer, the market booms in March, falls to the bottom in June and sees a stable recovery in August.
iAbrasive: What's the decisive factor in abrasives market, in your opinion?
Gao: well, as far as I'm concerned, there are two points—Stability and Innovation. Stability refers to the stable product quality that companies should adhere to; innovation is the way to keep running and make revenue.
iAbrasiive: Since you highlight on innovation, which is not easy to be put into practice. What actually have Woozfine done to fulfill the target?
Gao: Just take our company for example, we are applying for a technology patent. Besides, the stainless steel we produced last year enjoyed great popularity, thereby, we plans to apply for the first prize to association. Once the technology and product receive recognition, our customer channel is likely to be broadened.
iAbrasive: what do most users regard as important? Product working efficiency or working life?
Gao: Surely more users regard the former as more important. If the boss were to purchase, he would consider labor costs, so working efficiency is always put in the first place.
iAbrasive: I've learned that Woozfine has a great variety of products. What's your major product?
Gao: Actually our products can be categorized into four: sanding belt, sanding roll, sanding paper and flap disc.
We plan to promote circular sanding paper as our featured product this year. The product is widely used in shipbuilding, auto making, and especially house decoration, where it can be used to polish wall surface.
