iAbrasive recently had an interview with Zou Kaiyu--the general manager of Zhuhai Elephant Abrasives Co., Ltd.. The conservation was smooth and direct. iAbrasive reporters talked with Zou concerning raw materials, company development and recent abrasives rising price, Zou had a lot to say. iAbrasive reporters have seen a young and promising leader in China abrasive industry.

"At present raw material price is relatively stable, which will be helpful to our brand promotion in the future." Zhang said, "As the largest professional market globally, China has little DIY market. Zhuhai Elephant is developing and company growth comes from inner product quality. Of course publicity is an indispensible method to facilitate the upgrading of company strategic development. There are three manufacturing bases in Zhuhai, due to China pearl river delta, company export sales take a larger proportion, company capacity is among the top in Asia. However, even if overload production cannot meet abrasives market current demand."

In 2008 when the company planned to build an abrasives industrial park in Guangdong, hoping to develop some highly automotive resin grinding wheel manufacturing equipment, at the same time, Zhuhai Elephant is considering setting foot in coated abrasives industry. 

As to raw material rising price, the company holds an optimistic view. As long as there are profits, companies can develop. "At the crucial moment, suppliers strongly support us not only in price but also in goods, so we have no problem in production." In production management, the company is in accordance with ISO standard.
