Silicon carbide micro powder sometimes may generate secondary pollution, so prevention measures should be taken. Following are four measures given by iabrasive:

1. Use Sic micro powder in a sealed working environment in case of dust pollution.
2. Sealed package. If the packaging bag is damaged, impurities may mix in with Sic micro powder, whose cutting performance will be influenced due to pollution.
3. Tools are supposed to be employed in a clean and sanitary environment in case of cross contamination.
4. Slurry storage. Slurry cannot be kept too long, or it will produce agglomeration that may influence cutting.
