Metal Surface Sandblasting Technology Key Points

Metal will get rusty after a period of time, to wipe off the rust on metal surface, sandblasting plays a crucial role. Usually abrasive grains are employed during sandblasting process. To achieve better effect, iAbrasive points out that relevant standard should be followed during sandblasting process. There are four tips to follow during metal surface sandblasting:

1. During sandblasting process, attachments, welding slag, grease, etc are suggested to be cleaned.
2. Sandblasting process shall be done with temperature lower than 85℃.
3. The compressed air of sandblasting should be processed by cooling installation and oil-water separator so as to ensure the dry air that is oil free.
4. Choice of abrasive grains had better be ceramic sand, iron sand; abrasive grains should have edges and corners, clean, dry and oil free.
