Therefore, polishing industry upgrading is essential. News came that all polishing workshops in China will stop production to self-check, which can lead to aluminum wheel and relevant products unbalance between supply and demand in a short period, even iPhone 6 and Xiaomi 4 will be influenced.

A large number of SMEs are in downstream of auto, due to limited scale, companies is weak in independent pricing. Most companies can only reduce costs to increase profits. Currently during domestic auto aluminum polishing process, skilled workers are employed to polish by hand with electric grinding tools. On one hand, automation technology has not been grasped by some enterprises; on the other hand, China labor cost is inexpensive.

With the spreading of global automobile lightning process, aluminum wheel has become a symbol of lightening and its market is expanding—it is light in weight and good-looking after polishing, thus it has become a necessary product of GE and international major auto makers; in recent years, with Chinese auto market expanding, aluminum wheel domestic market has a promising future.

Foreign manufacturers are not willing to produce aluminum wheel, they usually choose outsourcing service or import from China. While in small and medium cities where no large projects favor, local leaders will regard this industry as key investment so as to bring achievements and tax revenue. As a result, polishing industry upgrading is in desperate need, which has a lot to do with the survival of the whole industry.
