At present, domestic aluminum oxide market is running smoothly. In Henan, the market quotes of industrial aluminum oxide were around 3200-3300 Yuan/ton. The prices including tax of calcined alpha aluminum oxide (Al2O3≥99%, 325 mesh, conversion rate≥95%) were around 4000-4200 Yuan/ton.

In Shandong, the market quotes of industrial aluminum oxide were around 3100-3200 Yuan/ton, with price increase of 50 Yuan/ton. The prices including tax of calcined alpha aluminum oxide (Al2O3≥99%, 325 mesh, conversion rate≥95%) were around 4000-4200 Yuan/ton too.

According to the survey, most aluminum oxide manufacturers started the production on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, and they give more priority to inventory consumption at present.

Although industrial aluminum oxide had price increase affected by raw material price in Shandong, but because of adequate stock before Spring Festival, the downstream customers have weaker demand for aluminum oxide. Therefore, the market price of aluminum oxide is difficult to continue to increase in the short term.
