China's Output of Green Manufacturing Industry to Reach 10 Trillion Yuan in 2020

Since the reform and opening, the industry promotes China's economic and social rapid development, and at the same time, a lot of resources and energy consumption also bring enormous pressure to environmental protection. In 2015, for example, China's total energy consumption was 4.3 billion tons of standard coals, and coal consumption accounted for 64%. Among them, the abrasives industry is also the important area of energy resources consumption. Therefore, it is important and urgent to change the traditional extensive growth mode in our country, to realize the industrial green transformation development and promote the economic transformation.

During the 13th Five Year Plan, the government will implement green manufacturing project about resources and energy efficiency and cleaner production, with emphasis on the traditional industrial green transformation, supported by science and technology innovation and laws and regulations, to speed up the construction of green manufacturing system, develop the green manufacturing industry, promote comprehensive development of green products, green plant, green park and green supply chain, establish long-term mechanism of the industrial green development, and promote the harmonious development of the industrial civilization and ecological civilization.

To be specific, aimed at speeding up the implementation of green transformation of traditional manufacturing industry, the government will focus on some key areas, key rivers, heavy metal pollution control and so on, and pays special attention to energy efficiency reconstruction, low carbon, high water resource utilization efficiency and green transformation of basic technology, to promote green transformation of traditional industries.

To achieve the green development, it needs to promote the recycling of resources, actively explore the implementation of producers’ responsibility system, and strengthen the recycling management of new energy automobile power battery, to realize high-end manufacturing and intelligent remanufacturing engineering.

In addition, the government will also build a green manufacturing system as a whole, with enterprises as the main body, and standards for the lead, with green products, green plant, green industrial park, the green supply chain as the key points, supported by green manufacturing service platform, to establish the standard system of green manufacturing, and improve the basic ability of green manufacturing.
