A, High speed grinding

High speed grinding is a technological process to improve the grinding removal rate and grinding quality by improving the linear velocity of diamond grinding wheel. High speed grinding has the following advantages:

a, Under a certain unit of time and the amount of grinding removal, the cutting thickness of abrasive grains is thinning when the linear velocity of grinding wheel is increased, which makes the load of single abrasive grain alleviated, and the durability of diamond grinding wheel is increased;

b, The grinding surface roughness is decreased; After improving the linear velocity of diamond grinding wheel, the cutting thickness of abrasive grains is thinning, which makes relative feeding of grinding wheel smaller, and lower the roughness.

c, The normal grinding force decreases, and the workpiece precision is improved.

B, Creep-feed and large depth of cut grinding

Creep feed and large depth of cut grinding is also called deep slot grinding or creep grinding. It has large grinding depth (up to 30 mm) and low table feed (3 ~ 300 mm/min) for grinding.

C, Abrasive belt grinding needs high speed moving sanding belt as grinding tools for grinding various kinds of surfaces, which is also called abrasive belt grinding.

When using high speed grinding, you must confirm that the working speed of machine tools must be lower than the safe linear velocity of grinding wheel, and, also need to assure the safety when grinding.
