The best quality standard of laminate flooring is its abrasion resistance. To a large extent, it determines whether laminate flooring has longer service life. But in fact, the abrasion resistance of laminate flooring is unable to be seen with the naked eye. The abrasion resistance of laminate flooring mainly depends on the chemical coating on its surface. When you are going to buy laminate flooring, please bring a sandpaper and find a piece of sample board which then you can grind about 10-20 times back and forth by using sandpaper. If there is a damaged pattern on laminate flooring, it belongs to unqualified laminate flooring without wear-resisting layer.

If you can grind it about 20 ~ 40 times, there will be apparent damage on the laminate flooring. It must be inferior laminate flooring with wear-resisting layer.

You can see some problems through the observation. Usually, laminate flooring with good abrasion resistance has great aluminum oxide coating on its surface. To observe the sample board in the sun, if you find metallic luster and a sense of powder, close to the grinding effect, it is laminate flooring with aluminum oxide wear-resisting layer, which has great wear-resisting performance. If there is only metallic luster, but no sense of powder, there may be some resins on the surface coating, and its wear-resisting performance is poor.
