Centerless grinding machine mainly has three grinding methods:

A, The pass-type centerless grinding of centerless grinding machine: Centerless grinding machine workpieces go along the axis direction of grinding wheel for grinding. It needs to adjust tiny angle of wheel axis to realize axial feed. Centerless grinding machine is suitable for grinding slender cylindrical workpieces, short axis without center hole, etc.

The workpieces can be fixed on certain position of bearing plate for cut-in grinding. It can used for grinding the workpieces with shaft shoulder or cone, sphere or other revolved workpieces.

C, Centerless grinding machine also has tangential feed grinding. Its productivity is higher, and it is mainly used for mass production, and easy to realize the automation.

Centerless grinding machine has some announcements:

A, Centerless grinding machine can ensure relative position accuracy of precision grinding surface and non-grinding surface (coaxiality, perpendicularity, etc.), but the roundness is poor when grinding the outside surface.

B, It easily causes prismatic roundness by an odd number of times in the process of using centerless grinding machine. If it is big, it will tend to create the false impression that measure size is less than the largest entity size, and affect the assembly quality and work performance.

C, People need to notice when adjusting centerless grinding machine: The machine tool adjustment is complicated and time-consuming. Every time, changing different diameter workpiece needs to adjust the bracket height and distance, and related process parameters. The adjustment technology of centerless grinding machine is difficult, not suitable for small batch and single production.
