Its wear resistance is 5 to 20 times the service life of rubber and cast iron, and it is also one of ideal materials for airline runway.

D, The industrial applications of building materials ceramic and grinding wheel 

Silicon carbide has great coefficient of thermal conductivity, high thermal radiation and high strength, so it is often used to manufacture sheet kiln furniture, which not only can reduce the capacity of kiln furniture, but also improve the loading capacity and the product quality of the kiln, and shorten the production cycle. It is the ideal indirect materials for ceramic glaze baking and sintering.

E, The application of energy-saving

With good thermal conductivity and thermal stability, silicon carbide can be used as heat exchanger, whose burnup can decrease by 20%, saving fuel by 35%, to improve productivity by 20-30%. Especially the discharge pipeline of mine's concentrator, the wear-resisting degree is 6 to 7 times of that of conventional wear resistant materials.
