1. Bonded Abrasives

Bonded abrasives are natural or synthetic abrasive grains "bonded" into a solid form, usually in the shape of a wheel. Bonded abrasives products also include grinding and cut-off wheels, snagging wheels, segments, mounted wheels, plugs, and cones. Grinding wheels are cylinders that are rotated at high speed. Due to different abrasives, bonding agents, and manufacturing techniques, grinding wheels differ greatly in performance, which rests with abrasives, grits, bonding agents, organization, shapes, sizes, etc.
