BRM Announces Technical Article About Wire and Nylon Abrasive Cups for Surface Finishing and Deburring

Wire Cup Brushes

Stainless steel doesn’t leave residues that can oxidize, but these wire cups are less aggressive than carbon steel brushes. Wire size and material are important, but wire style is also important to consider.

Single-row and double-row wire cups have filament ends that are loosely twisted and tufted. By contrast, wire cups with a cable twist have wider, tightly-twisted ends.
