80000 Tons of Silicon Carbide Processing Project to Be Manufactured in Jiuquan

Entering Xinha mining factory in Guazhou County of Jiuquan, workers are busy in making previous preparation for production orderly.

It is understood that Xinha mining was founded in 2014, which is a company that is devoted to production and processing mining products and mainly producing quartz sand and silicon carbide. Among them, the construction period of silicon carbide processing project with a total investment of 136 million yuan and annual output of 80000 tons, is from 2013 to 2016.

It began in April 2014. It had successfully built two 20000 KV line, 110 KV switching station, 3800 square meter finished-parts storage and ancillary facilities in the first phase of this project, and the first phase was built and started trial production at the end of August 2015.

If the second phase is built and reaches producing standard, the production capacity of silicon carbide will reach 80000 tons, which can add output value of more than 440 million yuan, taxes of 20 million yuan, and new jobs of more than 210. It will have good economic and social benefits. Currently, a set of 110 KV substations has been installed, going into the production prophase and will go into production.

"Recently, the main equipment has been installed and has preliminary debugging started. And with Siemens ingredients line system, it can successfully go into production around the end of the month." The engineer in Xinha mining, Cui Jianyun says.
