It's not a reason to take off your hearing protectors, but it may make you feel a little better if you weren't sure they were working before.  The SuperSilent saw blades feature MicroGeo polycrystalline diamond teeth, which cut through solid woods and laminated core products with a 2mm ultra-thin kerf.  While the blades were designed to slice through wood while keeping noise levels down, NAP Gladu says they also extend tool life.

"The Super Silent blades last up to 6x longer than other blades. Their durability and versatility provide an exceptionally low cost per cut, and reduces the need for time-consuming tool changes." Says Brett Reid, National Sales Manager.
