Slight Increase in the Australia's Aluminum Oxide Abrasive Price

Due to the strong demand, Australia's aluminum oxide FOB price rose slightly by $4.5 per ton to $330 per ton. The appreciation in price has improved the previous low-price aluminum oxide market demand.

Platts has estimated the aluminum oxide price in Henan Province, China. On Tuesday, over-the-counter trading price increased by 30 Yuan (about 5 dollars) per ton to $2,580 per ton. The payment terms were 70% by cash and 30% by credit card. The Chinese aluminum oxide companies need to replenish the stock to meet market demand during the coming winter.

On Tuesday, an aluminum oxide company revealed that it had concluded a deal of 30,000 tons of aluminum oxide products, and the price was Australia FOB $331.5 per ton. The payment terms were 30 days B/L, and the stipulated transshipment date was be at the end of October. The transaction has been confirmed.

The seller's guiding price will maintain FOB Australia $331 to $335 per ton. An Australian distributor added that the purchasers' enthusiasm is likely to be raised soon and that there are three to four purchasers that are looking for a source of goods. Another two purchasers say that their predicted price is FOB $325 per ton, but they haven't purchased what they want yet.
