GSI Demonstrates ‘Live Testing’ Services At Las Vegas Show

Gemological Science International (GSI) offered its Live Testing services at the Continental Buying Group event at the JCK Show at Las Vegas.

GSI said it extended its Live Testing services for loose and studded diamonds at the industry event.

GSI’s research team provided information to buyers on detecting synthetic diamonds with the most modern and sophisticated instruments. The team demonstrated its strong research expertise on the identification of lab-grown diamonds, both HPHT synthetic and CVD.

GSI’s gave away an Ogitech Diatrue™ mobile synthetic diamond detector to all retailers and suppliers at the event. Diatrue detects HPHT lab- grown diamonds, loose and mounted stones in seconds, detecting stones from 0.01 to 10 carats and identifying them instantly in a single view, the firm said in a statement.

The Continental Buying Group (CBG) is the largest independent jewelry chain organization in the country and this year is the third time that GSI has participated.
