According to the report from Russian media, on December 11, Chinese scholars completed the world's first quantum computer with a diamond. The computer can extract encoded information in less than a second, and an ordinary computer that can complete this job requires a few years or even 10 years.

According to the report from Russian satellite network, on December 11, researchers from University of Science and Technology of China, led by the professor Du, established a new system that can use the corresponding way to launch system structure. Compared with ordinary binary computer, this system can have more large amount of calculation. Usually, this system requires a special equipment laboratory with climate testing, and the new model can also can be safely stored in ordinary homes. The quantum computing ability can work under the condition of normal room temperature, which is accomplished by using a small amount of nitrogen in the diamond.

It is reported that the main purpose of this work is to make a quantum computer used for commercial purposes. They can handle a large volume of information, and solve some complex problems at the faster speed than conventional computers.

A couple of years ago, quantum computer is considered to be a distant dream of most scholars. Because of a large number of technical problems, many people think that building this kind of computer requires ten years before computer can be put into application.

According to the report, some systems based on quantum machinery for special calculations are firstly invented by some companies in the United States, such as Lockheed Martin and Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Diamond is a kind of mineral composed of pure carbon, and is also the hardest substance in nature. Since people confirmed that diamond is made up of pure carbon in the 18th century, people began the study for synthetic diamond. At present, synthetic diamond is also widely used in different industries and process industries.
