China Coated Abrasives Association Industry Annual Meeting 2015

China Coated Abrasives Association Industry Annual Meeting was held on the morning of May 12, 2015 in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. More than 200 representatives attended the meeting. The central topic of the meeting is analyzing industrial economic climate and discussion of the purpose and goals in the New Normal. 

At 8:30am, the meeting started with national anthem. Li Shanyu – vice chairman of China Coated Abrasives Association and chairman of the board of Hubei Yuli Abrasive Belts Group Co., Ltd., Li Xianchao – chairman of Zibo Sisha MT Coated Abrasives Co., Ltd., Yang Lu –chairman of Dongguan Golden Sun Abrasives Co., Ltd., Wang Rongsheng - chairman of Jiangsu Fengmang Compound Material Science & Tech Group Co., Ltd., Xie Guo - chairman of Sichuan Santai Gurui Enterprise Co., Ltd., Wang Mingyuan – secretary general of China Coated Abrasives Association attended the meeting. Li Xianchao was the host.

During the meeting, Yang Lu pointed out that China's machine tool industry developed with the national economy and stepped into the New Normal. How to adapt to it and accelerate economic development mode has become a difficult task for the entire industry. Therefore, China Coated Abrasives Association should be fully aware of the expectation and requirement of member companies so as to provide them with better services and facilitate the stable growth of the industry.

Chen Yuandong delivered a report titled Summary & Analysis of China Coated Abrasives Industry's Economic Situation in First Half of 2015, which provided detailed statistics, objective analysis, and rational suggestions for attendees.

Wang Cunyin – chairman of Henan Wangpai Abrasive Cloth Manufacturing Co., Ltd. made a report concerning innovation in China's coated abrasives industry. In the report, he analyzed the phenomenon that demand exceeded supply in China's coated abrasives industry before 2005, and the period when there was an increasing market demand, as well as the present situation where the industry is in its advanced phase. He also pointed out that research and development is the only approach to raise competitive force.

Later, a report titled Combine the Internet with Coated Abrasives and Start from Basis delivered by Shi Lei – general manager of iAbrasive.com, as well as the former executive deputy general manager of China Coated Abrasives Association website, attracted attendees' attention. The report analyzed the basic trade flow of the Internet and coated abrasives in a new perspective and an unique way of thinking, which aroused intensive response.

Bian Guomin – general manager of Dynea Guangdong Co., Ltd., introduced its innovative products and performances, which caused concern of relevant companies, especially abrasive sand paper manufacturers.

At the end of the meeting, Wang Mingyuan made a summary and expressed his sincere hope that all member units pay high attention to and provide strong support for the important tasks, which are of great value to the scientific progress of the coated abrasives industry and technological innovation. On the afternoon of May 12, two more meetings were held.
