Black Silicon Carbide Yield Was 6.7% Lower Than Previous Phase in July

According to statistics, in July, there are 34 black silicon carbide manufacturers whose yields are about 47000 tons in China, which decrease by 6.7% from the previous phase and 2.7% on year-on-year basis.

Based on the research and statistics of domestic 34 black silicon carbide production enterprises, the average operating rate of black silicon carbide enterprises is 48.95% in July, decreasing by 4% than in May.

In July, some small black silicon carbide manufacturers make an adjustment of production according to the market demand, so the yields of black silicon carbide in July continue the declining trend. Affected by the environmental protection check in August, manufacturers increase the reduction of production, so it is expected that the yield of black silicon carbide may continue to fall in August.

According to statistics, black silicon carbide manufacturers’ operating rate in Ningxia and Gansu both fell in July, and it is 4.43% in Ningxia and 6.1% in Gansu. Some manufacturers stop the production from 13 in June to 15 in July.

At present, black silicon carbide’s trade rate has turned better. The main reason is that after adjustment of yield in July, black silicon carbide surplus condition has improved in the market. In August, environmental inspections will be carried out in Ningxia, Qinghai and other regions, and most of black silicon carbide manufacturers may stop the production or production adjustment for a short time. It is expected that the yield of black silicon carbide will continue to decline in August.
