Because of the importance of the sensor in the electric control system, to some extend, the competition among various advanced cars depend heavily on their sensors, no wonder that countries around the world attach much attention on its theoretical research and application of new materials.

Famous for its good heat resistance and high thermal stability, diamond’s surface won’t become carbonized until temperature exceeds 1200 ℃ in a vacuum and 600 ℃ in the atmosphere, because of which it is suitable for producing high temperature thermal sensors.  

Besides, diamond under high temperature deforms easily, which makes it suitable for producing vibration or acceleration sensor used in such circumstance. Its combination with other materials can be used as pressure sensor, with whose high sensitivity and resistance to high temperature and corrosion make it suitable for vibration testing, engine and cylinder pressure measurement.
