Introduction:
White fused alumina is electrically fused in arc furnace from raw materials of high purity. Its hardness higher and its toughness slightly lower compared to brown fused alumina. It is also characterized by its high purity, stability, ability of self-sharpening, stability, better cutting, less heat emission, higher efficiency, acid, alkali and heat resistance, good thermal stability.
Application:
It is one of the most important basic grinding material. It is used for production of grinding tools, loose grinding, blasting, etc. It contains a minimum amount of SiO2 and thus it is not harmful to one´s health.
