On Aug. 18, 2014, the expert technology group led by Wang Qinsheng, the chief expert in China's superhard industry manufacturing base, embarked on providing a patent layout for the Zhengzhou superhard material industry. This is the latest measure taken to facilitate the development of the Zhengzhou superhard material industry by enhancing patent strength and increasing patent layout.

In August 2013, superhard material-based Zhengzhou New Material Industry Agglomeration was approved by SIPO (State Intellectual Property Office) to be the only "National Patent Navigation Industry Trial Plot" for superhard materials in China. For the moment, the industrial park has been on schedule for phase 2 of the Zhengzhou superhard material industry development patent layout.

The superhard industry is packed with patents. Wang Qinsheng says, "In the days to come, Zhengzhou superhard material enterprises will not sell products but core technology." With the help of patent layout, superhard material enterprises can not only improve industry competence, but also be well prepared for winning the market.

Relevant authorities reveal that the expert technology group seeks to figure out the gaps between the industrial park and international mainstream technology in terms of current situation, development direction and a point to make breakthroughs.

According to planning, Zhengzhou New Material Industry agglomeration will become the only influential :Diamond City" as well as "China Superhard Material Industry Valley" in the world. The industrial park is striving to exceed 1000 billion Yuan in industrial output value.
