Xiamen International Stone Fair: Product Differentiation in Diamond Tools

Visitors to China Xiamen International Stone Fair increased sharply on the second day - Mar. 7, 2015. After fifteen years' development, Xiamen International Stone Fair has become a collecting and distributing center for first-hand information of the stone industry. To meet the demand of exhibitors of stone processing machine tools, the committee started using 4000㎡ as light-duty machinery pavilion.

There have been two problems in stone fair in the past few years. One is product homogenization, and the other is low and medium end products remain the major products in the market. With new technologies and new products coming out, the competitive force of China's superhard materials and products has been enhanced. Meanwhile, companies' technological innovative capacity has been improved accordingly, such as diamond multi-wire saws and diamond circular saw blades with well-ordered abrasive grains.

In addition, China's superhard materials and products companies begin to pay more attention to products' differentiation. Although it is extremely difficult for small companies to make huge breakthroughs in technology and product research, improvement can be made in terms of product details and design. China's superhard materials and products industry are suggested to focused on market segment.
