The Total Output of Brown Fused Alumina Continues to Decline in Henan, Only 18700 Tons in July

Influenced by domestic environmental protection supervision, Henan particularly attaches great importance to environmental protection and makes larger efforts. The local government has ordered most brown fused alumina manufacturers to wait for the production notification, and some regions are limited the power supply in order to control the production. Starting on July 17, most brown fused alumina plants began to stop the production in Henan, and has not yet made the production date clear.

Data show that the total output of brown fused alumina is about 39100 tons in June in Henan , and in July, the total output is about 18700 tons, with a decline of 52% compared with June.

In June, the total output of local white fused alumina is about 14300 tons, and 7300 tons in July, which falls sharply about 48.8%. According to the survey for 58 brown fused alumina manufacturers in Henan, 54 manufacturers have stopped the production, whose rate is as high as 93%.

In addition, the sampling investigation for local 26 white fused alumina producers, tell us that only two manufacturers maintain the production, and the rate that white fused alumina factories stop the production is as high as 92.3%.

Therefore, the environmental protection inspection is particularly strict in Henan, and most local manufacturers remain the state of shutting down, and the production time is not clear. It is expected that in August, the output of brown fused alumina and white fused aluminawill continue to decline sharply in Henan.
