Features

1. Superior Quality of PCD Die Blanks.

Before manufacturing into TC supported, PCD die blanks are produced well by sintering in advance and have been through various processing and quality inspection, which basically avoid the possible defects in PCD material such as loose microstructure, cracks and abnormal growth of the crystal grain. Quality problems of the traditional TC supported die blanks like dense exterior and fluffy interior can be definitely avoided.

2. Unique taper design.

PCD is pressed into support ring in the direction from side A to side B. Our unique taper design make it easier for user to tell the entry side from the exit side, and make it possible for TC supported ring to perform close protective action to PCD die blanks which ensure the die blanks withstand bigger impact in the wire drawing process.

3. Perform well in both hot mounting and cold mounting.

The improved bigger OD of TC support ring can provide PCD die blank with considerable centripetal and impact resistance support so that it’s unnecessary to employ technology of high pressure sintering with metallic powder in the mounting process. Only the “cold mounting” method will do in this process, namely the technology of interference fit. This will help to avoid any thermal damages to the die blanks and ensure that the quality of PCD material not change in the mounting process.

4. Could use different PCD upon demand.

The employing method of ‘press fit design’ greatly broadens the range of diamond materials being used in manufacturing the TC supported. The die blanks material can be cobalt bond PCD, De-cobalt thermal stable PCD, silicon bond thermal stable PCD or CVDD etc. TC supported PCD WD with thermal stable diamond die blanks can be used in the high temperature and high speed wire drawing.
