Synthetic Diamond Project Achieved Huge Success

Graphene and diamond both belong to elementary substance of carbon. Graphene is cheap while diamond is expensive. What if we could change graphene into diamond? 

At present, Hebei University of Technology has made huge breakthroughs in graphene-diamond phase transformation mechanism theory. The research production is published on the Scientific Reports of Press Group (NPG).

The research has ushered in a new thinking for synthetic diamond, which make it possible to control synthetic polycrystalline diamond grain size. If the requirement of the mechanism can be meet, expensive diamond will become as cheap as a glass ball.
