Machine Tools General Assembly Conference in Beijing

On April 24, during the 14th CIMT2015, China Machine Tools General Assembly Conference was held in Beijing. Representatives from China Machine Tools Association attended the conference, which was hosted by Mao Yufeng.

Mao introduced the basic situation of the association and the focus in 2015. Jiang Jianming-Director of Ministry of Finance delivered speeches about financial management, and Du Zhiqiang-vice chairman, introduced the industry information statistics and future plans. During the discussion, secretary-general of the association conducted wide and in-depth communication with attendees and interactions. In addition, the conference gave commend to advanced units and relevant industry associations, including China Superhard Materials Association and China Coated Abrasives Association. 

Founded in 1984, China Coated Abrasives Association is one of the earliest spontaneously formed industry association with more than 30 years' experience in this line, which has later been merged into a branch of China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association in 1995. We have been approved as a national social organization with the corporation qualifications by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. It possess hundreds of members involving manufacturers, foreign trade companies, scientific research units and institutions professional in coated abrasives as well as relevant products, such as abrasives grains, textile, paper making, adhesive, manufacturing equipment, etc.

The highest authority of Association is the members' representative assembly. Generally, the council, consisting of the director, deputy director, executive director, director and the general secretary, will take charge of everything when association is not in session. Located in zhengzhou, henan province, the secretariat serves as the standing body of the association which is responsible for the daily work of the council.

At the final part, Chen Huiren revealed two decisions that were reached during the director-general conference. He suggested that scientific and systematic adjustment in existing associations be made. He reiterated the significance in building modern social organization, major goals and basic requirements. It was pointed out that the standing organizations of the association had been striving hard towards these objectives, and that huge progress was made. As to innovation and transform, associate members were suggested to have a correct view with reason.
