Installation and Adjustment of CNC Grinder Grinding Wheels

Generally, the installation of grinding wheels needs to use flanges. When installing grinding wheels, we should pay attention to the following aspects:

Please notice sound check before putting it in the clamping. Lift grinding wheel with ropes and touch gently, the voice should be clear, no tremolo or noise.

The diameter of the two flanges must be equal so that grinding wheels are not affected by the bending stress and rupture. The minimum diameter of flanges should be not less than 1/3 of the diameter of grinding wheels, and in the absence of shield, it should be not less than two-thirds.

Between grinding wheels and flanges, it must be put the elastic material such as rubber, felt, to increase the contact area for uniform stress. After putting the clamping, grinding wheel should be run about 5 min under the highest speed and then begin to use formally.

The static balance adjustment method of CNC grinder grinding wheels: When adjusting grinding wheel static balance by hand, you must use the balancing stand, balance mandrel, balance block, spirit level, etc. The final purpose is that grinding wheels can stabilize at any position. That means grinding wheels are balanced. According to the size of grinding wheels diameter, it also need to check six or eight directions.
