iAbrasive.com: The Developer of First CBN in China - Lu Feixiong

Lu Feixiong, director of China's first cubic boron nitride (CBN) research project, a key participant in "121" project team, plays a significant role in early development of CBN abrasives and products in China, who is the founder of superhard materials and products industry in China.

On November 10, the 20th China Superhard Materials Technology Development Forum, namely the 50th Anniversary of Cubic Boron Nitride, was held ceremoniously at New World Hotel in Guiyang, Guizhou. Qiu Lihua, chairman of Superhard Material Sub-association of CMTBA, and Li Jing, deputy general manager of iAbrasive.com, visited Lu Feixiong and his family together.

Mrs. Qiu, as the representative of Superhard Material Sub-association of CMTBA and Zhengzhou Research Institute for Abrasives and Grinding, expressed thanks and best wishes. And Mr. Lu shared the past unforgettable plot in the process of research and development with Mrs. Qiu and Li. He’s delighted to see the rapid development of China's CBN and hopes China CBN products can achieve greater development in the path of reform and innovation.

In addition, he showed some notes written in 1967-1968 about CBN for the two ladies during the visit. And in the 20th China Superhard Materials Technology Development Forum, Lu also reviewed the development history of CBN, and shared some precious moments about early research and development of CBN.
