Dragon Boat Festival, also called Duanwu Festival, is a China’s traditional festival, which is celebrated on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month every year in China, in memory of a poet and minister Qu Yuan in Chu State of Zhou Dynasty, who jumped in the Miluo river to drown himself in despair because his homeland was invaded by Qin Dynasty.

It is said that the local people crowded to the Miluo river and raced out in their boats to save him or retrieve his body when they heard about it. They dropped rice into the water to lure away any fish in order to protect Qu’s Body. This is said to be the origins of dragon boat racing and Zongzi (glutinous rice, red beans, red dates, lotus seeds, chestnuts,  salted duck egg and other ingredients wrapped by bamboo or reed leaves).

According to holiday arrangements from General Office of the State Council of China and Henan iAbrasive Network Technology Co., Ltd., all of iAbrasive's staff will have four days' off from May 27 to May 30, 2017. iAbrasive team will come back to work as usual on May 31, 2017. Sorry for any inconvenience it may cause, and wish you a happy Duanwu Festival.
