Hohhot's Diamond Wire Saw Project Completed Examination and Approval

Recently, reporters learn that municipal committee for examination and approval has finished the examination and approval work of a company from Inner Mongolia, about 2 million annual capacity of KM diamond wire saw and slicing machine for guide roller coating slotting, and the report about energy conservation assessment.

It is understood that the project’s total investment is 270.56 million yuan, and there are processing equipment about 282 units (sets) and other public auxiliary equipment. After the completion of this project, it can realize 2 million annual output of KM diamond wire saw, 1000 sets of coating and 3000 sets of slotting.

This year, as the start of the 13th Five Year Plan, we will energetically develop clean production technology of high efficiency and energy saving low cost silicon and solar battery key supporting material preparation technology, thereby reducing production costs of photovoltaic battery and achieving good production environment of silicon material. The promotion of diamond wire-cutting technology will play a very important role on industrial upgrading.

At present, diamond wire saw technology has been widespread used in Japan, more than 90% of users, and in Europe and the United States, there are more than 20% of users. Diamond wire in the domestic market has mainly monopolized by foreign companies, so the wire for domestic solar silicon material cutting is basically imported, which seriously restricts the further development of China's solar maximum capacity.

Speeding up to research and develop and manufacture our diamond wire with independent intellectual property, breaking the current situation, and providing quality and cheap diamond wire for domestic users have become the key of development, which is also the rigid demand and inevitable trend of market development in the new energy era.
