Global China International Hardware Show Held in Shanghai

It has been 62 years since the first China International Hardware Show (CIHS) took place. This year the exhibition is to be held in Shanghai exhibition center. The opening ceremony was held on July, 5, Zhuren, president of China hardware Association delivered a speech as the opening remark. Zhu looked back on CIHS developing history, briefly introduced the general situation of the 27th China International Hardware Show, and expressed his expectations for the promising future.

iAbrasive reporters have learned that CIHS was formerly called "China Hardware Commodities Fair". It has been held for 125 years successively since 1952 when it was initially held. In 2001, the name "China International Hardware Show" was put into use. Now it is the biggest professional hardware show in China. The spring show is held in March at Shanghai, while the autumn show takes place in September, held in turn by major cities in China.

The new venue for CIHS--Shanghai Exhibition Center is so far the biggest architecture in the world, single hall is 28,800 square meters, the exhibition hall on the second floor is 17 meters in height. The exhibition hall is room-saving and flexible, which provides convenience for both exhibitors and visitors. Located in the core center of Shanghai Hongqiao Business District, the exhibition hall has advantages in convenient transportation and geographical superiority. Neighboring express ways and transportation junction make it possible to arrive at the Yangtze River Delta.
