First China Machine Tool Exhibition Makes its Mark

More than 7,700 people from seven countries visited the China Machine Tool Exhibition (CMTE 2011) in October. Around 160 companies from Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, USA, Japan, China and Taiwan gathered at this unique platform. At CMTE 2011,the latest technologies and products were presented by Hardinge, Haas,Spinner, DEPO, Tech-omiller, OSG, Nagoya Precision Tools, Formdrill,Wikus, WEKO-Gear Technologies, Kaefer Dial Gauges, SMP Technik, MACHTEK,Litz and many more.

Domestic Chinese enterprises also showcased their latest products and technologies, and presented creative innovations. Chinese producers included Haitian, Nanjing No.2 Machine Tool Works and Nanjing Technical Equipment Manufacture etc. On the first day of the exhibition, DMG China, FUCHS China, and Koerber Schleifring attended the “China International Internal Combustion Engine Advanced Manufacturing Technology Summit 2011” and presented their innovations and solutions at the conference. The “New Energy Supply Chain Communication Conference 2011”, the “Aerospace Efficient-Cutting Technology Seminar”, as well as the “Optical non-contact measurement solutions for the profile of impeller” seminar also achieved positive feedback from the attendees.

The key topics of CMTE2011 were metal cutting machine tools, precision tools, metal forming machines and components, parts, components and accessories. The organizers succeeded in creating an outstanding business platform for exhibitors and also provided an opportunity for provincial and municipal leaders, industry experts and decision makers to learn about, negotiate and discuss the topics presented at the show.

The next show will be held from October 15 - 17, 2012 at the Nanjing International Expo Center.
