Diamond Jewelry is the Leading Product at June Hong Kong Jewellery&Gem Fair

Diamond jewelry is the most popular product at this year’s June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, according to statistics from the show organizers. The diamond jewelry product category was followed by diamonds, colored gemstone jewelry, colored gemstones and pearl jewelry in terms of popularity.

During the first three days of the fair, that ends today, there were over 24,000 unique visitors to the show. China and Hong Kong accounted for the lion’s share of visitors, followed by India, Taiwan and others.

Over 2,200 exhibitors, including more than 50 Israeli diamond companies, are exhibiting at the fair. Feedback from the show indicates many visitors to the pavilion and lots of optimism from Israeli exhibitors. “The show has proven to be better than expected,” says Israel Diamond Institute Chief Marketing Officer Ira Tsirlina.
