Alrosa Now Holding Rough Diamond Tender in Israel

Russian state-owned diamond company Alrosa is currently holding a tender for rough diamonds in Israel, the Israel Diamond Exchange announced in a press release. The public sale of rough stones will be restricted to stock that weighs ten carats or more, and will take place between June 9 and June 27 at the offices of Alrosa subsidiary Arcos Diamonds Israel.

As per an agreement between Alrosa vice-president Yuri Okiomov, Arcos Diamonds Israel managing director Yakaterina Barzina and Israel Diamond Exchange president Yair Sahar, Alrosa will hold three diamond tenders in Israel this year. The tender currently underway is the second of these.
