Depressed Center Wheels feature 100% aluminum oxide abrasive

Norton Abrasives, the world's leading abrasives manufacturers with more than 125 years' experience, has introduced Gemini XXL, the fastest depressed center grinding wheels with 100% aluminum oxide on the market, which can provide 50% more life and metal removal than standard aluminum oxide wheels. Gemini XXL give the best performances on hard-grade carbon steel applications, weld repairs, flashing and jobs that require a quick turnaround.

For instance, in a real study on right angle grinding long, light post welds, a 4-1/2” x ¼” x 5/8-11” Gemini XXL wheel was tested against a standard aluminum oxide wheel on a 4-1/2”, 10 AMP grinder. The Gemini XXL removed 43% more material and performed 106% better than a competitive wheel. what's more, the wheel can save over $5,700 annually.

Manufactured in the U.S.A. in Norton’s Texas-based facility, Gemini XXL wheels feature quality aluminum oxide abrasive for consistent, maximum performance. They are available in ¼” Type 27 wheels in diameters ranging from 4 ½” to 9” and heights of 7/8” and 5/8-11”, ten SKU’s in total.
