Many different elements make an abrasive non-woven a high quality non-woven: research, technology, plants and machines,

Type W/S UF 1200 micro : this non-woven type is manufactured exclusively with grit Sic 1200; it is used to manufacture pads of different dimensions for the automotive sector, for finishing all lacquer types. Because of its very light texture, it is not suitable for conversion into abrasive wheels.

Type W/S UF 600 or 1000 : these two non-woven types are manufactured respectively with grit Sic. 600 or 1000; they are used to manufacture pads of different dimensions for lacquer finishing and converted into wheels for profiles and picture frame mouldings finishing, buffing, special effect creations (antique effect, etc.). They are also used to manufacture special balanced rolls for the final stage of flat panel sanding machines.

Type W/S SF : this non-woven type is manufactured with grit Sic 400; as this is a midway grit, still rather fine, it has the same applications as the previously described non-woven types

Type W/S VF : this non-woven type is manufactured with grit Sic 320; it can be converted into pads for strong hand sanding on lacquers; into disks for metal buffing; into wheels for a satin effect and buffing on stainless steel, aluminium, brass, zamak, nickel silver. In the woodworking sector it is used for thin lacquer coat sanding or solvent based patinas.

Type W/S F : this non-woven type is manufactured with grit Sic 180 and converted into rolls and wheels both for the wood and for the metal sectors whenever a medium finishing and abrasiveness are required.

Type W/S M : this non-woven type is manufactured with grit Sic 120 and converted into pads, disks and wheels used mainly in the metal sector. The flap rolls are used for satin effects on stainless steel.

Type W/S C : this non-woven type is manufactured with grit Sic. 80, and converted into pads, disks and wheels used to deburr and satinate. The flap rolls are used, especially if combined with finer grits, to satinate stainless steel.

Type W/VERDE : this non-woven is manufactured with white corundum grit 320. This type of abrasive grains sands very gently but is very efficient at the same time. It is suggested for sealers, nitro and nitrocellulose lacquers, and also for thin coats of polyurethane lacquers.

Type W/BLU : this non-woven is manufactured with pink corundum grit 280. The main feature of this product is its adaptability to be converted into very compact flap wheels (H.12) though remaining suitable for lacquer sanding (polyurethane, UV lacquers, etc.). If this product is used for edges and picture frame mouldings with a difficult profile, the wheel will be shaped accordingly in a very easy manner and remain unaltered until consumption even in the smallest details.

Type W/A SF : this non-woven is manufactured with a special corundum grit A 800/1000. This mix of abrasive grits combined with the medium thickness of the nylon support; make this product very elastic and flexible, resistant to heavy use as on orbital sanders or hard hand sanding. For this reason it is mainly used in the automotive sector and for wood lacquers.

Type W/A VF SOFT : this non-woven is manufactured with corundum grit 320. The support is standard with a medium abrasiveness. It is a multipurpose product, convertible into pads, into flap wheels for the metal sector for tender metal deburring and satin effects on stainless steel, and into balanced rolls for flat solid wood and lacquered wood panels.

Type W/A VF STRONG : this non-woven is manufactured with corundum grit A 280/320. The support is firmed by an adequate combination of the nylon support and the quantity of abrasive grains. It is generally converted into disks or into flap wheels mainly for the metal sector.

Type W/A F : this non-woven is manufactured with corundum grit A 180. It is mainly use in the metal sector and converted into wheels, disks and rolls for the final satin effect on stainless steel.

Types W/A M : This non-woven is manufactured with corundum grit A 120. It has quite firm products thanks to its thick nylon support and to the rather coarse grit used to manufacture it. It is converted into disks, wheels and rolls and used in the metal sector for deburring and conspicuous satin effects.
