Type AW/K is produced in all grains
Originally designed as a flap wheel composed of non woven material impregnated with resin which keeps the single flaps welded together.
This design enhances the properties of the non woven material and increases durability and performance.
Product Details:
° Wheel AW/K increases stock removal compared to the flap wheel with the same grain.
° During working operation the non woven material is not bending thus increasing efficiency.
° Having a more compact wheel the shaping is easier thus enabling the working on complicated sections or linear profiles.
° This compact wheel can dissipate heat and deliver a finish without changing the properties of the metals. Additionally, it does not discolor the workpiece.
Applications:
° Satin finishing on stainless steel and aluminium alloy plates and profiles.
° Blending and cleaning of all metals.
°.Polishing welds with removal of excessive binders after the cooling process.
° Masking operations and satin finishing.
° Deburring and cleaning of castings.
° All operations where excessive heat may modify the workpiece properties.
