CNC Router Tool Holders Description:
This is a balanced ISO 30 tool holder (cone) that is used for ISO 30 taper systems. It is woodworking tool holders for wood working auto tool changer CNC routers. All HSD ISO 30 ATC spindles use this cone. The HSD Auto Tool Changer clamping system uses the pull stud at the end to pull the cone precisely into the spindle's taper.
 
ISO30 ER32 Toolholder, A=50mm. Commonly known as ISO30 for many HSD and Biesse equipped CNC routers. Balanced to 24,000 rpm <=G2.5, ISO30 toolholder includes HSD pull stud and ER32 collet nut.

Covernuts are used to hold and clamp tools into a spindle. Spindles operate at speeds up to 24,000 RPM so it is vital that balanced covernuts are used. Tool holders (also called "Cones") are used in ATC style systems. All tool holders and covernuts on this website are balanced.
Using unbalanced covernuts or tool holders will damage the spindle.
Correct installation of the collet and tool is required to avoid damaging tooling, cones, and spindles.
