Duralum® ATZ II C is a tough, hard alumina zirconia material that is produced by fusing zirconia, titania, and alumina and chill casting it in a proprietary process. Duralum® ATZ II C is a unique abrasive, characterized by a higher percentage (approx. 40%) of tetragonal zirconia and reduced titania evenly distributed throughout the individual grains. It cuts more aggressively, lasts longer, and exhibits more uniform wear.
Applications:
Duralum® ATZ II C was developed for use by coated abrasive manufacturers in applications where extended product life and improved cutting ability are required.
