Scalloped Edged Belts are used in any application where cloth belts are used and aggressive edges are a concern. When used for sharp inside radius sanding and sanding using the edge of the belt, scallops are less aggressive and prevent the edges from digging into the work piece. Sanding Belts for all types of metal. Coated belts feature Aluminum Oxide, Zirconia, and Ceramic abrasives. They are resin bonded to a variety of backings for superior life. All belts have tear and break resistant joints. All Ceramic sanding belts have a strong, stiff polyester backing and are self-sharpening for extended belt life.
