TW-TSP products are thermally stable polycrystalline diamond with a coating which enables them to be tack-welded to steel in a pattern allowing hard-surfacing overlays to be added, giving a cost effective high wear resistant wear surface.
The coating is able to withstand preheat temperatures up to approximately 1000 deg C. without separation from the diamond surface.
There is also a feature in the coating which further protects the diamond from degradation due to the high heat conducted during most overlay processes (circa 1500 deg C.)
The product is available in many shapes and sizes dependant upon the range of capability of the manufacture of the TSP itself.
Applications:-
This product can be used in construction products, oil and gas well products, mining and any other industries where extreme wear is a significant factor.
