Company Introduction

TES was founded in 1969 in Germany. The company focuses on developing and manufacturing textile testing equipment, and is well-known in the American and European markets.

In 1991, Zhencei Testing Instruments Ltd. was founded in Dongguan, China. Zhencei is the primary instruments supplier of the official quality inspection laboratories in China, and it exports instruments to Asia and Europe.

In 2008, TES (Germany) merged with Zhencei Testing Instruments Ltd. as a joint venture and founded TESTEX Textile Instrument Ltd. headquartered in China. TESTEX mainly manufactures and sells textile testing equipment. The combination of TES and Zhencei maximizes TESTEX's ability to offer more affordable and higher quality testing solutions to our worldwide customers.

American- and European-made testing equipment is reliable and durable but the costs are extremely high. The quality of Chinese-made equipment is improving a lot and is increasingly challenging the dominance of the American and European products, but there are still other companies that offer unreliable equipment at a lower price for market share.

TES and Zhencei aim to supply reliable and cost-effective testing equipment to clients while taking advantage of the much more affordable labor costs in Dongguan where we base our manufacturing sites. The German TES arm of our company develops our technologies and handles quality control of our products. TESTEX has become the preferred brand of textile testing instruments to government and university labs all over the world. TESTEX developed and standardized some of the world’s leading textile testing instruments by working with various international organizations.
