Company Introduction

The Surface Finishing Equipment Group consists of four companies, three based in the UK plus our Middle East Office located in Abu Dhabi. Our three UK Group companies are Hogg Blasting & Finishing Equipment in Tyne & Wear, Abraclean which incorporates Jedtec in Stockport, and Ercon Finishing Systems in Willenhall.

Our new office in Abu Dhabi has been set up to supply our Middle East customers with plants and equipment for blasting, painting and powder coating.

The Groups history dates back to 1919 when James Hogg & Sons was founded on the bank of the River Tyne, so we have a long history in the surface finishing market. Over the last 5 years the SFE Group has been formed and we are continuing to expand our activities and market presence.

We offer a wide range of services including design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training and service. At our Ercon facility we design complete plants from scratch so that each plant is tailor made to the customers exact requirements. We design and manufacture all our pre-treatment sections, ovens, booths, conveyors and control systems in-house which gives a high level of control of our projects to deliver new projects on time.

Our Hogg Blasting & Finishing Equipment, and Abraclean branches have trade-counters for goods collection.
