Brown fused alumina is refined in the electric arc furnace under the high temperature of above 2200℃, with the abrasive bauxite, anthracite, iron chips as the main raw materials. It is characterized by good chemical stability, high hardness, strong toughness and grinding force, the resistance to high temperature, corrosion and scour, good fluidity and low coefficient of linear expansion.
