AZ 40 is manufactured by fusing selected grades of high purity alumina and zirconia above 2200oC, followed by controlled cooling and crushing process. It is a very tough and hard abrasive material useful in heavy duty grinding of virtually all types of metals and wood. It has the unique advantage of aggressive cutting, long durability and uniform wear.
