PCD/PCBN tools
PCD is an abbreviation of polycrystalline diamond (short for polycrystalline diamond sintering body), which is sintered with tiny man-made diamonds. It has advantages of impact resistance, extreme wear resistance, longer service life, and adhesion resistance, specifically on machining accuracy and surface roughness. Different from an ordinary diamond sintering process, it is ideal for cutting of non-ferrous metals and use of wear-resistant tools.
