The Normal Corundum (NK) types are for general purpose use on grinding wheel drive motors.
The standard grinding wheels are manufactured in two groups, being normal corundum and silicon carbides, in diameters ranging between 15 and 500 mm . The Normal Corundum (NK) types, which are manufactured in grit sizes of 24-36-46-60 and in the hardness of O-P, are for general purpose use on grinding wheel drive motors. The grinding wheels made of Silicon Carbide (SCG) , which are manufactured in grit sizes of 60-80 and in the hardness of J-K, are used for sharpening hard metal edges.
