Fiberglass backing plate is made of several layers of fiberglass reinforcing mesh that is coated with phenolic aldehyde resin and punched after solidification. It’s featured by light weight, high structural intensity, excellent bonding performance, thus widely used as the base material for flap discs and abrasive discs.
The quality of fiberglass backing plate is very critical to the intensity and safety performance of flap discs. We can supply T27 & T29 in a variety of size and layers, such as 95mm, 107mm, 118mm, 140mm, 6-13 layers, single/double rings, etc. More specification can be customized.
